As you have probably noticed, there are many varieties of frogs in this frog jigsaw puzzle entitled “Frog Frenzy”. According to Wikipedia, there are around 4,800 recorded species of frogs in the world with their appearance varying from a “camouflaged dappled brown, grey and green to vivid patterns of bright red or yellow and black.” One of these colorful frogs is from Panama. It is the Panamanian Golden Frog in the upper left corner. Another colorful frog [found in the lower left corner] is the Strawberry Poison Dart Frog found in Central America. While you can find frogs all over the world, you will find the majority of them in tropical rainforests.
What frogs are most known for are their life cycles. Their lives usually start as eggs laid in the water, then hatch into tadpoles and then eventually what we know as frogs. As you and your loved ones assemble this puzzle, it would be a great time to learn more about the many varieties of frogs, their habitats and how humans include frogs into their culture.
